Night Life is a zombie film I like to dig up every Halloween – and by Halloween I mean anytime between September 1st and October 31st.
It’s a rare 80’s zom-com that pits a likeable high school nerd (and relatable Zeppo) versus the reanimated corpses of the recently deceased school jocks that tormented him. It also happens to star Scott Grimes, John Astin and Cheryl Pollak.
Need I say morgue?
Given the stiff budget, it’s a clever and ambitiously gory undertaking that’s definitely urned its place on the shelf next to Return of The Living Dead and Night of the Creeps.
If you miss out on this one, well it’s your funeral home. -Pop
