Just One of the Girls (1993)

Just One of the Girls (1993). There’s no denying Corey’s 80’s output is absolutely legendary, but I spend an inordinate amount of time obsessing over his 90’s oeuvre, particularly the “Haim and Eggs” years. See, then-couple Corey Haim and Nicole Eggert starred together in The ‘Double O’ Kid (1992), Blown Away (1992, their stab at an erotic thriller), and this strappy tale of this guy in disguise.

Fun as it is, it’s not quite on the same footing as Just One of the Guys (1985) – but I’m always down for its brand of zany gender-bending tomfoolery.

Just to drag this out: For a bit of extra can-con, you get a few quality tracks on the OST from Alanis Morissette’s pop phase (so much crush)… as well as a welcome cameo. -Pop
